Tyrone Davis
Soul singer Tyrone Davis came up on the 1960s Chicago club scene; his first big breakthrough was his 1968 single, "I Can Change My Mind." Davis continued scoring hits throughout the '70s, moving with the shifting musical winds along the way and adopting his sound to the funkier styles that came into vogue over the course of the decade; this resulted in later hits like "In the Mood" and "Turning Point." Davis died in 2004.
