Jean-Michel Jarre
Jean-Michel Jarre is the son of Academy Award-winning composer Maurice Jarre. A pioneer of electronic music, Jarre has enjoyed a prosperous career himself, selling over 60 million albums in 30 years. He first achieved worldwide success with his innovative, chart-topping 1977 release OXYGENE, an album that arguably paved the way for the 1980s electro new wave scene. He has also scored several European films and television programs, and has even been inducted into the GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS for holding the world's largest concert (3.5 million spectators).
