Francoise Hardy
Francoise Hardy is one of the most admired singers in the history of French popular music. Her early singles from the 1960s mixed the French chanteuse tradition with the pastoral folk of the era. After a modeling and acting career that kept her in the public eye, Hardy would go on to create albums with a clear bent toward mainstream accessibility that proved to be equally (if not more) popular than her early work. She collaborated with the French pop duo Air in the 1990s.
