On album number three, Lil Scrappy continues to walk the line between gutter and glamour. PRINCE OF THE SOUTH sees Scrappy spitting street anthems and Dirty South manifestos (see "The A," Scappy's tribute to his hometown) and getting jiggy over crunked-up club bangers ("Keep It on the Low," "Move Somethin"). Lil Flip, Pastor Troy, and J-Bo of the Youngbloodz are featured.

Pastor Troy
Son of a former drill-sergeant and preacher, this College Park, Georgia, native set himself apart from fellow up-and-coming hip-hop artists from the Dirty South by infusing his thugged-out rhymes with a touch of religious introspection. In 1999, Troy made waves in the rap world with his independently released debut, WE READY, I DECLARE WAR, which included a Master P dis-track. On the strength of local popularity, Pastor Troy was signed to Universal Records in 2001 where he recorded his most successful albums, FACE OFF (2001) and UNIVERSAL SOLDIER (2002). Since breaking with Universal in 2004, Troy has been busy releasing underground solo records and mixtapes at a torrid pace.
