Poet and songwriter Stephen John Kalinich is best known for his association with the Beach Boys (he contributed songs to their FRIENDS album), and his sole album, A WORLD OF PEACE MUST COME, was recorded at Brian Wilson's house in Bel Air in 1969. The album is a collection of Kalinich's poems, most of which involve protests against war and impediments to peace, and simple folk songs with added sound effects and psychedelic flourishes. The result is a cult `60s classic that is a must for collectors.
