Recorded live at London's Royal Albert Hall, this set features the duo whose career ran from the 1950s to the early 20th century, and whose music spanned country, pop, and rock & roll, displaying their expertise in a wide variety of styles, from the bopping "Bird Dog" and the pure, unadulterated pop of "When Will I Be Loved" to the beautiful, sentimental balladry of "Crying in the Rain" and "Ebony Eyes," with a nod to the folk music of a bygone era in "For the Love of Barbara Allen."

Everly Brothers
These two brothers from Kentucky are the bridge between the assorted familial harmonizers of the country radio show era and the rock & roll of the '60s. Their sterling singing adapted well to the changing styles of four different decades. They were in on the first flush of the rock & roll era in the mid-'50s, and their mix of country, pop, and rock & roll provided some of the shining moments of the early '60s, a largely fallow time for pop music. In the late '60s/early '70s, their style was a natural fit for the burgeoning country-rock movement. After a mid-'70s breakup, the duo reunited in the '80s and continued performing together into the 21st century.
