Into The Night

Listening to Enforcer's INTO THE NIGHT is like time traveling to a time of hair, spandex, and total abandon. That's not to say Enforcer plays flaccid party rock. Quite the contrary: the Swedish act's sound has more in common with New Wave of British Heavy Metal standard bearers like Maiden, Priest, and Diamond Head. Singer Olof Wikstrand wails like Bruce Dickinson, and guitarists Joseph Tholl and Adam Zaars intertwine their solos like Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing, the only noteworthy tweak to the formula being a ramping-up of the tempos into near thrash territory.
