Marilyn Monroe

While clearly best known for her Hollywood films, legendary screen actress Marilyn Monroe (born Norma Jean Mortenson) also dabbled in singing, perhaps most famously when she cooed "Happy Birthday, Mr. President" to John F. Kennedy in 1962, shortly before her death. The blonde bombshell is also well known for her steamy rendition of "I Wanna Be Loved By You" in SOME LIKE IT HOT and her boisterous version of "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" in GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES. Though her studio recordings are few and far between, diehard Monroe fans can track down her various musical collections, which vary widely in quality.
