Electronica dance trio Jahcoozi comprises two producer instrumentalists (Robot Koch and Oren Gerlitz) and a Sri Lankan lead singer (Sasha Perera). The group's debut, PURE BREED MONGREL, showed them capable of translating their hypnotic, arty, booty-moving grooves to the studio, and BLITZ N ASS, the follow-up, raises the ante. With similarities to Peaches and M.I.A., Jahcoozi deliver a blend of burbling electro, driving club beats, and slinky sensuality; all with a clever, brainy twist.
